Online Student PhotoThe first step in taking an online class at Mansfield University is accessing your campus services account information. Login to My Accounts.You will then be provided with your e-mail account information, your Desire2Learn & WebAdvisor login information. Course requirements Review the course requirements for any required specific meeting times (synchronous) for which you must be available to engage in class activities, such as on-campus, proctored, or online tests and/or required discussions/communications.

Hardware/software Requirements Make sure that your computer meets minimum technical specifications. (Some courses may require additional hardware and/or software).

Login to your course using Desire2Learn. Sign into your online course(s) following the instructions outlined on the Desire2Learn (D2L) website. You can also access D2L by clicking on its link under the 'Quick Links' menu located in the navigation bar of the Mansfield University website.

As you prepare to take your online class at Mansfield University be sure to review the e-mail policies. All communication between faculty and students for online courses is done through your Mansfield University Mounties e-mail account.

All students are required to maintain unique identifying and password information and to ensure that these are secure at all times. When students log into a university computer system or course, they are required to enter the unique information that verifies their identity. Intentionally sharing or authorizing others to use the unique information is a violation of University acceptable use policies and could lead to disciplinary action.
