Online Master's in Education (M.Ed) Art Education Program

Art Education Program

The M.Ed. in Art Education emphasizes an academic mastery of Art Education. This program is developed for talented, dedicated, and self-motivated graduate students who wish to become further informed about pedagogy and professional research.

The conceptual framework advocates a model of art education that encourages graduate students to become leaders in their field.

This Mansfield University online Master's program is offered in collaboration with Lock Haven University. This program is designed for certified art teachers. It does not lead to certification in art education.

Art Department Faculty

Admissions Requirements

Students admitted to the program must be certified art teachers within one of the fifty states. Non-United States citizens must provide proof that they have met the requirements to teach art in their respective countries. Students must have an undergraduate GPA: 3.0 or above to be admitted to the program. A portfolio is required.
