This online interdisciplinary program offers courses within a common course framework: enhancing knowledge, promoting skill development (with role-plays and simulations, case study analyses and observation/participation in real-world settings), and promoting opportunities for practice (in the community, where possible). Development of multi-cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse issues in integrated throughout the 33 credits required for graduation.
Ours is a program based on a confluence of advanced theory and professional practice in the field. We will work with students to develop an appropriate setting, sponsor, and activities. Provided the Internship experience takes students appropriately beyond their usual duties and responsibilities. Many students will elect to conduct their Internships right in the organizations they are currently working with.
