The following computer skills are necessary for participation in the online degree completion programs:

Ability to use a mouse (click, double-click, block, drag and drop)
- Ability to open, save, and rename files
- Ability to use a web browser, send and open email, send email with attachments
- Ability to navigate the Internet
- Ability to open sophisticated web pages that utilize Java/Java Script programming or browser plug-ins
- Ability to download and install plug-ins and required software
If you do not have these computer skills, you may need to take a computer course prior to applying for an online degree completion program. A tutorial is available.
